New identity conveys momentum and focus on ‘Driving Business Success’ for the future
Inver Grove Heights, MN (August 21, 2018) – The River Heights Chamber of Commerce, a not-for-profit business organization dedicated to providing resources and support to help businesses grow and thrive, unveiled today a new brand identity. The new logo comes at a time when the Chamber is establishing a foothold for future business growth and reaching out to a broader base of potential members.
The branding project kicked-off in March to look at outcomes that would reinforce desired brand attributes and increase appeal to members, prospects and the broader business community, create a more modern, progressive look and establish a tone with a tagline that is both believable and defendable.
“We don’t just represent our members,” said River Heights Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Brenda Dietrich. “We work for the greater good of ALL businesses in the communities we serve. The River Heights Chamber staff and Board of Directors are proud to unveil our new brand identity to everyone in the business community who can utilize the Chamber’s many resources.”
The concept behind the creative
The wave and bridge elements shown in the new logo represent the Chamber’s ability to bring together businesses and communities through connections, knowledge sharing and resources, while also symbolizing the geographic footprint of the River Heights Chamber as a river community. The bridge artwork also represents one of the Chamber’s most iconic projects, the construction of the Wakota Bridge.
“The Chamber essentially serves as a bridge to business success,” said Dietrich. “Businesses of all sizes, in multiple cities, benefit from our services and the networking and collaboration our events provide. The combination of the bridge and water elements, and emphasis on “Chamber of Commerce” creates an instantly recognizable and memorable brand.”
The new identity and tagline (Driving South Metro Business Success) reflect the qualities and characteristics member organizations and community leaders say they value most about the River Heights Chamber, while the colors and design exude a sense of inclusiveness, friendliness, forward-thinking attitude, dependability, trust, balance and security.
“The Chamber supports businesses in Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul, as well as around the South Metro, with advocacy, networking and educational programming. Through this rebrand, we hope to open more doors and focus on diversity, connections and economic growth,” added Jennifer Gale, River Heights Chamber of Commerce President.
